Longest Driver bragging rights go to Jim Colley.

What club did he use? "The big dog."
How far did he hit it? "About a hundred yards."

As the Steel Mail News team approached the award area near the tournament's end Jim Colley could be overheard giving a lecture to several admirers about the physics of transferring energy from hands, arms, and shoulders down through the club shaft and into the ball at the maximum force necessary to send the ball soaring out of sight down the fairway.

During this time, our photographer caught Dave Bazemore in a candid photo (left) as he was glaring at Colley and stating "If the law was on my side I would kill him."
